WILD RICE, APPLE CAKE

Ingredients: 
1 1⁄2 c brown sugar
1 1⁄2 c MELTED BUTTER
2 LARGE EGGS
1 t VANILLA
2 c FLOUR
1⁄4 t BAKING SODA
1 t CINNAMON
1⁄2 c MILK
2 c CHOPPED APPLE
1 c COOKED WILD RICE
1 c CHOPPED NUTS (WALNUTS/PEACANS)
Instructions: 

In large bowl combine sugar and melted butter, beat in eggs and vanilla. Mix flour, soda, baking powder and cinnamon. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Stir in apples, wild rice and nuts. Pour into a greased and floured 9x13 pan. Bake 45 minutes at 350deg. Let cool in pan. Frost with maple icing.
