WILD RICE AND APPLE SKILLET WITH PORK

Ingredients: 
4 1 inch pork chops (Oil for frying as needed)
1 c Ramy Wild Rice
1 large onion
2 1⁄2 c chicken broth
2 large, red, cooking apples (unpeeled, but cored and sliced)
Instructions: 

Brown the pork chops on both sides using as little oil as possible. Remove chops and sprinkle wild rice in pan. Arrange chops over wild rice. Put onion slices around chops on wild rice. Pour the chicken broth over all and bring to boil.

Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 45 min. Add apple slices and simmer, covered for additional 10 to 15 min.
