LENORE MARSHALL'S WILD RICE CASSEROLE

Ingredients: 
1 1⁄2 c UNCOOKED RAMY WILD RICE
4 c BOILING WATER
6 T COOKING OIL
1 lb ground beef
6 T CHOPPED ONION
2 cn CHICKEN AND RICE SOUP
2 t salt
1⁄4 t ONION SALT
1⁄4 t CELERY SALT
1⁄4 t garlic salt
1 cn MUSHROOMS (16OZ CAN)
1 t SOY SAUCE
1 pn PAPRIKA
1 pn CURRY (**TRACE OF CURRY**)
1 BAY LEAF
1 lb CHEDDAR CHEESE GRATED
Instructions: 

Pour boiling water over wild rice and let stand 15 minutes. Drain.

Saute ground beef and chopped onion in oil.  Drain.  Combine rice, ground beef and remaining ingredients excluding cheese. Place in covered casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Remove from oven and sprinkle with cheese.  Bake 30 minutes more.  Serves 6 to 8
